From the Sky

As we were on our way to airport this morning I told my dad, "I hate
flying.". I'm sitting on the airplane right now and looking at one of
the most beautiful sunsets. I'm thinking, 'I've seen some really
amazing things from the window of an airplane.' One time when Aaron
and I were dating I was flying to Dallas and there was a lightning
storm. From the plane I could see huge billowing storm clouds, and I
could see the lightning in them. They were all around us. I felt like
I could reach out and touch them. I've seen snow-capped Mt Rainier in
the cascades at sunset, and the beautiful Puget Sound minutes later.
From an airplane you see things from a completely different
perspective. How is it that something you may see every day, somehow
becomes majestic when you see it from the sky? Well, I guess I don't
hate flying. It's sad to think that some people have never seen the
world from the sky. I wonder what it looks like to God. :)
