The joys of quilting...

I've been working on a scrap quilt that I've wanted to make for
probably a year now. Since I have so much time now I finally got to
get started on it. I have all the blocks done and just laid it out
today. After visiting Aaron this weekend I'll begin putting it
together. These are my favorite kinds of quilts because you take a
bunch of different fabrics with many colors and patterns that don't go
together at all and turn them
into something beautiful. As I was choosing where to lay each block,
I thought, God looks down on us and sees us in our mismatched,
fraying lives and somehow makes something beautiful out of us every
day. I took
a couple of pictures... The first one is the stack of blocks I'll be
sewing together next week. It will be worth it! :)
