A relaxing rainy Saturday and a hot bowl of Chili...

Well, it's still raining.  I've spent the day working on a purse while Doug watched football and Barbara read.  We decided that a day like this calls for some soup.. so we looked through some weight watchers recipes and instead found a good recipe for chili.  I've never known if chili is considered a soup or a stew or a chowder...  Who knows, but a hot bowl of it on a cold and rainy Saturday sounds pretty perfect. 

I got a post card from Aaron today that was basically a general card that the Air Force created and each airman fills it out and sends it to his family.  It read like this:

The first thing I noticed when I saw this card was that when he called me and gave me his address I thought he said (CORNA-9), and obviously it was supposed to say (Dorm A-9)... Funny mistake I think!  :)  Hopefully the five or so letters I've already sent him will not bring him to much ridicule because of how I wrote it...  So if you were thinking about sending something to him I would recommend that you send it to the above address and not the one I posted previously!  :)  I guess I will change that just in case.


Oh yeah, another great thing for a lazy Saturday if you haven't already discovered it is http://www.pandora.com/.  It's a music website and I listen to it all the time.  You pick a song that you like and it creates a playlist of similar songs and you can listen to it all day long if you want.  You can even combine playlists to create more of a variety...  Another one is www.imeem.com.  You can listen to music for free and it has almost every artist you can think of on it.  Just a few things that help make my days a little more interesting. :)
